A devoted path of inquiry, healing and service
Facilitator, teacher, mother and community member, rooted in Nelson, BC, with over 25 years of listening to the body and the wisdom within it.
Robyn is a facilitator, guide and somatic integration practitioner based in Nelson, British Columbia. For more than 25 years she has learned through embodied practice, inquiry, and accompanying and supporting people through deep process in individual and group settings. She is an authorized Continuum Movement teacher, trained in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and studied Continuum Movement with its founder, Emilie Conrad, and Susan Harper. Her background includes pre- and perinatal work, attachment and bonding, Process-Oriented Psychology, parts work and inquiry-based coaching, and training in the ceremonial arts with her maestra Doña Cristina in Peru.
My story
I'm originally from Vernon, and Nelson has been home for much of my adult life. It is where I'm raising my two children and living in community.
At 18, I travelled to India to study yoga and meditation and explore who I was beyond the world I had grown up in. At 23, a serious health crisis during my bodywork studies in Costa Rica deepened that inquiry and changed my perspective and the direction of my life.

My studies with Emilie Conrad and Susan Harper through Continuum Movement became central to this journey. Deep explorations of movement, sensation and consciousness unfolded alongside my training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, pre- and perinatal psychology and my own ceremonial work and training with my Peruvian maestra, Doña Cristina. Together, these paths helped me meet and heal patterns and experience the wisdom, depth and resources available within the body.
They also opened questions that continue to guide me: What does it mean to be in a body, on this planet, at this time? How do we listen deeply enough to access the intelligence within us? How do we bring what we discover into the way we live and relate?
Exploring consciousness through plants and embodied practice and inquiry became a path of personal healing and integration, and gradually a foundation for being of service. I began teaching and holding spaces for deep self-inquiry early in this journey. For over 15 years, I have facilitated retreats, workshops, online classes and extended immersion programs, locally and internationally. This has included co-leading a holistic bodywork training with Heather Bury.
Alongside these studies and offerings, life has been my greatest teacher. Motherhood, community and the ongoing practice of learning to be in health and healing relationships, continually bring the learning home. Again and again, when I feel stuck, I return to listening. I find that something within me knows the next step when there is enough space and support to hear it.
This is what I'm passionate about offering: grounded, caring spaces where we can slow down, meet ourselves honestly and explore the depth of our embodied experience—including the mystery of what feels infinite and eternal within us and feeling the magic of what's created when we gather with intention.
Today, I'm simplifying how I share this work, intending to offer clear, dedicated ways to practise together. I'm continually learning from the healing potential of community: what becomes possible when we show up consistently, honour our relationships and commit to authenticity, growth and love.
An unshakeable trust in the power of love to hold, heal, and integrate all that arises.
The medicine and my teacher
My relationship with the grandmother medicine began over 20 years ago, and I met my core teacher, Doña Cristina, in 2010. Her transmissions are rooted in the Quechua-mestizo tradition.
The sacred songs, the land, and Cristina's way of holding space carry a profound vibration of harmony and health. It is a deep honour to share this work and enter this journey with you.
